Orange or Strawberry Butter

This elegant little condiment is absolutely required for popovers, but is equallly delicious on warm cornbread or other pastries. There are no ingredient amounts specified because you make as much as you want.

Ingredients:

Orange Marmalade or Strawberry Jam
Butter

Method:

  1. Warm the butter to room temperature.
  2. Mix in the jam a little at a time until it is well blended and has the sweetness you desire (typically 2 parts butter to 1 part jam).
  3. Chill and serve.

    I believe I wrote to you a number of years ago, when I first started to use the internet just a little

    Yet do not go on line all that much.
    Just check email and look up a bit mostly about gardening
